Yes. All learning features — practice, search, the mastery map, weak-spot analysis — are free forever. The only paid option is the voice pack (full audio for ~2,400 more verbs) — a one-time purchase of US$5.99 (¥600 in Japan). No subscriptions.
▶Q. Are there ads?
No — the app is completely ad-free, and it uses no analytics or tracking SDKs.
▶Q. Do I need an account? What about switching phones?
No account or login is needed. Your learning data is stored only on your device, and it's included in your standard OS backup (e.g. iCloud backup) when you switch phones.
▶Q. Is there an Android version?
Coming to Google Play in mid-September. The iOS version launches first, on August 28.
