I use it every day
Real life Chinese teacher told me that the most important thing to learn first is Pinyin. So every day in addition to my other Mandarin Chinese studies I spend 15 or more minutes using this app.

Q&A

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Q. There's no sound in the app.
First, make sure your device's silent-mode switch is off. If you still hear nothing, try the following in order:
① Turn the volume up with the side buttons
② With the app open, press a volume button and check that the popup icon is a speaker (if it shows a bell, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and turn off "Change with Buttons", then check again)
③ Adjust the media volume shown as a vertical bar on the left while the app is open — not the ringer volume
If the issue persists, restart the app and contact us via the form.
Q. Is it free?
Yes, it's completely free to use (ad-supported).
Q. I'm a total beginner. Is that OK?
Yes. You can start from the syllable chart, so no pinyin knowledge is needed. Many learners also use it for HSK listening prep.
Q. Are Android and iOS versions the same?
Core features are the same. Availability of some modes may differ.
